Why Work with A Grief Coach?
I Get You On A Healing Path More Quickly
You know that there are a ton of no-cost and low-cost grief resources out there. Books. Expert-led support groups. Peer support groups. Online classes. Podcasts.
It’s overwhelming.
It takes a lot of trial-and-error to find grief support that truly helps you. That’s frustrating under the best of circumstances. Grief makes it even worse.
You save time and energy by working with me.
I’ll customize a grief coaching program to your specific needs, so you start healing right away.
Cindy led me, using the questions and methods, to have my own understanding. I wouldn’t have figured out how to access that without the coaching conversation.”
-- Kristy K
Cindy is an excellent, empathetic and patient listener. I enjoyed talking with her. She helped me understand that I was trying to think my way out of grief. I learned that the "emotional" trauma of the loss was what had me living in a fog.

I’m Okay That You Aren’t Okay
You’re surrounded by people with misconceptions about grief.
Many believe that, if you’re still suffering after a month or so, something’s wrong. You may even believe that yourself. You feel like everyone else has moved on, leaving you behind and alone in your grief.
You learn not to worry them by talking about your loss.
But it makes you profoundly lonely, having no one to talk to about your feelings and fears.
You can talk to me.
I don’t expect you to be okay. Life’s thrown you for a loop. It’s harder than you ever imagined.
I know your intense grief is normal. I also know you’ll get through this, in your own way and at your own pace.I know you can get there because I know we humans are innately resilient.
I also have faith in my program. It has worked for my clients.
I believe it’ll work for you.
If you stick with me, you’ll soon believe it, too.
I Make Grieving Manageable
Grief requires attention. You need to dedicate time to your healing.
I don’t mean you dwell in sadness in sorrow 24/7. I mean you need to engage in activities that promote your healing.
Healing requires that you grapple with layers of loss.
Loss related to your identity, financial security, social life, sense of meaning, future plans.
Healing comes through talking about regrets and unfinished business. Honoring your loved one. Reflecting on your life together.
It comes from taking the time to say a complete good-bye.
I have practices, guided discussion, methods, and strategies to help you grieve your loss thoroughly.
You’ll find that letting go makes room for hope for your future.
When you’re ready, we’ll work on building that vision together.
I won’t lie to you. This process will take longer than you want.
But I will make your griefwork manageable. Less distressing.
You’ll feel better as you see signs of progress and, eventually, you’ll get glimmers of hope aboutI tried to just move on. Cindy drew it out of me, had me find the answers. You don’t realize what you have in you until you have somebody like Cindy bring it out and help you figure it out. It’s one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time.

What Sets Me Apart
Like most coaches, I’m passionate about my coaching because I’ve been in your shoes. Losing my mother was one of the most difficult experiences of my life.
Her death is the reason I trained as a life coach and end-of-life doula. I wanted to support others suffering from grief and loss.
What sets me apart is my PhD in Educational Psychology with a focus on human learning and development.
Because of my academic background, I understand the complexity and challenges of the grieving process. Grief isn’t something you just “get through.” It’s a deeply personal learning process that prepares you for life after loss.
I'm here to guide you through methods that promote personal growth and healing. Strategies grounded in both research and real-world experience.
I’ve been using these methods with my clients for more than five years.
When you work with me, you’re not just getting a life coach. You’re gaining a dedicated partner on your journey, someone who has spent a lifetime studying how we learn, grow, and adapt to major life changes.
Together, we can find a path forward that honors your unique experience and fosters resilience and hope.
How To Get Started
The best way to get started working with me is to schedule a Zoom call.
Your goal for the call is to meet me and learn about my approach to grief work, to see if it will work for you.
My primary goal for our call is to make you feel cared for. My secondary goal is to make sure my program is what you need right now.
Sometimes, a different professional will serve you better. If either you or I decide you aren’t ready to work with me, I’ll do my best to connect you with the right kind of support.
We start the call with you filling me in on your situation.
You may cry.
It’s okay. Most people do. Once they get it out of the way, they feel more relaxed and ready to share their story.
So don’t let fear of tears prevent you from reaching out!
Once you’ve gotten me up to speed, I’ll ask some clarifying questions to get a clear understanding of your particular challenges. It allows me to provide you with a coaching plan that is customized to your unique experience.
I’ll lay out a rough plan for how we can work together, including my recommendations for how often we meet, for how many months, etc.
If you decide to sign up, we’ll schedule our first meeting and I’ll send you some documents for initiating our coaching relationship.
If you want to think about it, we can set up a second meeting to answer other questions you might have.
What’s the Cost?
I offer a customized coaching packages based on your specific needs or goals, starting at $480 per month for weekly one-hour coaching sessions and unlimited email and text support between session.
